By 5th Grade Rainelle Elementary School, Rainelle, WV with Martin & Delia Wach Mom’s Choice Award Gold Outstanding Young Contributors: Author /Poet Award Winning Finalist USA Best Book Awards 5th graders write about what patriotism means to them. Eighteen years ago Rolling Thunder Veterans stopped in a small town in West Virginia on their way across America to the Vietnam Wall in Washington. They were greeted as Heroes in Rainelle, West Virginia and have been coming back ever since. Rolling Thunder, Run for the Wall and Task Force Omega have donated over $100,000 to the elementary school over the years and the children have now written a book with children s book authors Martin and Delia Wach. Beautifully illustrated, this is an inspirational book for all ages!
