Cults are generally secretive, so most people know very little about them. Those people are, therefore, potential victims of cults’ blandishments, manipulations, and deceits. Cults, however, have many characteristics in common with one another, as do cult leaders and cult followers. If people know what those characteristics are, they are in a better position to protect themselves. That, therefore, is the focus of this book.
