Description An economical floating deicer to help keep water from freezing in a metal stock tank. 1500 watt heating element. Thermostatically controlled to heat the water when the temperature gets down towards 35 degrees F. Automatically shuts down as water gets heater to approximately 45 degrees F and then cycles again. One year warranty. *FOR USE IN METAL STOCK TANKS ONLY. Do not use in plastic stock tanks as this deicer has an exposed heating element and does not come with a protective guard.
