Mom’s Choice Award Next Generation Indie Book Award Finalist Gracie and her friends learn that words can be harmful when students in the lunchroom make fun of her friend. The teacher gives them an assignment with a partner to say a kind word about each other and shows them how to help their neighbors and friends. Gracie’s Guides are an award-series that help kids understand and know how to cope with difficult situations. The series has been endorsed by SADD (Students Against Destructive Decisions) and is used by Police Departments in their summer programs for kids.
